Key Objectives.
Inventory and assess the entire existing desktop-only site for issues and pain points.
Redesign the site to address those findings, adapt for all screen sizes, meet accessibility requirements, add new features, and modernize the overall look.
Smarter Search.
Restructured filter list to improve obviousness of the available options.
Added a dynamic results count to each filter to introduce transparency in the search process.
Simplified filter selection into a basic checklist system.
Redesigned search criteria to be more visually comprehensible as well as provide a measure of simple filter management.
A Clearer Glance.
Eliminated the smart search bar from Menu and Recipe pages (reserving it more purposefully as a dedicated Library page feature).
Reorganized and visually redefined the Menu and Recipe page features and tools to be more quickly scannable and identifiable.
